Welcome Winter Solstice and the Holiday Season
As I wrap up November with a beautiful gold bow, I welcome in December and the Winter Solstice. I quietly await the slumber that comes as winter’s blanket falls over the garden in a period of peaceful rest.
Like the garden, I welcome in this season of rest to refill my soul with God’s love and peace.
I find that shelter from the dim sunlight of the season helps me to once again discover comfort as we come inward to reflect, meditate and rest upon God’s word.
True enrichment comes from the blessing of the Lord, with rest and contentment in knowing that it all comes from him. Proverbs 10:22 (TPT)
I think many of us are looking for a source of extra peace from this historic year of change. As we put these past several months to rest, may we find time to give thanks for the simplicity of life’s blessings that have been bestowed upon us throughout this time.
May the blessings of divine grace and supernatural peace that flow from God our wonderful Father, and our Messiah, the Lord Jesus, be upon your lives. Philippians 1:2 (TPT)
After navigating through the seasons: the spring burst of reconciliation, the summer stretch of rejuvenation, the autumn harvest of restoration, winter’s restful peace gives us time to slow down and refill our souls in preparation for another season of joy.
May joyous grace and endless peace be yours continually from our Father God and from our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One! 1 Corinthians 1:3 (TPT)
O Lord, Our God, let your sweet beauty rest upon us and give us favor. Come work with us, and then our works will endure, and give us success in all we do. Psalms 90:17 (TPT)
What a wonderful season for us to open our hearts more to our Heavenly Father’s love -- to believe more in His promises. Meditate on the word more to receive his endless love and blessings. Create the time to rest upon God to allow the ultimate peace to live inside of you.
Why not embrace this season to grow your faith and live a life of freedom as you choose to walk in faith, moment by moment, day by day? Welcome in the supernatural peace and cascading love and blessings from our Heavenly Father.
So may God shower his peace upon you, my beloved friends. And may the blessings of faith and love fill your hearts from God the Father and from our Lord Jesus, the Messiah. Ephesians 6:23 (TPT)
