God is Real

In the past couple of years, I have heard many heartfelt stories of miraculous encounters with God. Any doubts of His Presence have been removed. Now more than ever, God is real.

God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.'"  Exodus 3:14 (NIV)

I am sure we have all heard stories about miracles from God throughout our lives. They often start with the landmark story in the book of Exodus when God parted the Red Sea to allow the Israelites to escape to freedom and live in the Promised Land.

Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land. The waters were divided, and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with a wall of water on their right and on their left. Exodus 14:20-22 (NIV)

I know many may say,  “Oh, we have heard these Bible stories for years. They’re old and  past history.”

“God is with you in everything you do.” Genesis 21:22 (NIV)

Yet, what we forget sometimes is that, as we walk through our daily lives, God’s promises and miracles of yesterday are still very much with us in action today, if we are willing to open our hearts to trust and believe in Him.

Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:39 (NIV)

When I began to write today, I found a highlighted note from a recent study: “When you wake up in the morning, thank God for the gift of a new day.” To start each day with a thankful heart – to be open to a day filled with God’s blessings and promises put upon our paths– is the key to discovering the blessings in our daily lives.  This willingness opens the eyes to our hearts to see through layers of daily activities. The more we choose to look beyond the layers, the more we will see God’s promises. His blessings are so very often right in front of us when we choose to open our eyes to our hearts and embrace His love for us.

Not one promise from God is empty of power. Nothing is impossible with God.

Luke 1:37 (TPT)

I have known for many years that God is real because of the many amazing miracles He has given me throughout my life’s journey. I often say that when we truly allow our Heavenly Father to guide our way, life (despite its challenges) will be a glorious magic carpet ride of promises and blessings beyond our imagination.  God is real.  He is beyond our imagination.  He loves to surprise us with His miracles and blessings to let us know that He hears the desires of our hearts.

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart. Jeremiah 1:5

God has already fulfilled a lifetime of miracles for us before the foundation was ever formed; but the fulfillment of the miracles is a process of faith.

Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! 2 Corinthians 9:15 (NKJ)

I want to invite you to join me on this adventure to know that our God is REAL today.  In the past couple of years, our Heavenly Father has placed people in my life to not only share their stories, but to also remind me that He is real and is knocking at the door of our hearts. When we let Him in, we walk hand-in-hand with God as he guides us through our journey of life to experience loving joy through all seasons.

Keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always. Philippians 4:8  (TPT)

I was reading another wonderful book Your Pathways to Miracles by Marilyn Hickey. In one of the chapters, she talks about how God uses people in our lives for specific reasons in the process of unfolding his purposes. In the past few years, God has introduced several people to me who have shared their incredible life-stories of miraculous experiences. One of the most amazing things was that they all ended with the same conclusion: God is REAL.

“…with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26

Grab hold of this mighty adventure to experience God’s purposes for you, if you are willing to read His word, meditate on His word and speak His word in faith and obey his word.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 (NIV)

Write down things that are holding you back; find scriptures that will answer your questions.

Start your journey. Let God be real to you.
