You Are Loved
February, a month centered around Valentine’s Day, reflects love. This is a great time to remind ourselves that we are loved, and, above all, loved by our Heavenly Father. His love is unfailing and everlasting if we choose to turn to him and allow ourselves to be immersed in his compassionate kindness.
As I continue on my journey in search of how to describe the gift of love from our Heavenly Father, I think about how love comes in all different shapes and forms. Expressions of the heart come from the gentleness of a kind gesture from (or toward) a friend or a family member or a kindred soul.
Our love for others is our grateful response to the love God first demonstrated to us. 1 John 4:19
As I reflect upon memories and precious moments of time, I feel a sense of peace wash over me as I realize that I have always felt His love comforting me through all the seasons of my life. Our Heavenly Father’s boundless love is such a priceless gift of unfailing compassion. He desires to immerse us in His love and embrace and share it with others…. God is love!
We have come into an intimate experience with God’s love, and we trust in the love he has for us. God is love! Those who are living in love are living in God, and God lives through them. 1 John 4:16
The gift of love is simple yet so deeply rooted in one’s soul. Everlasting hope and peace are ours if we open our hearts to be immersed in His love. His love endures forever.
This forever-song I sing of the gentle love of God! Young and old alike will hear about your faithful, steadfast love—never failing! Psalm 89:1
Let the gift of love grow inside your hearts to cultivate the abundance of joyous fruits. Let us enjoy the sweetness of God’s love and share it with others.
How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understanding—this extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God! Ephesians 3:18:19
I will tell again of the faithful, gracious acts of Yahweh and praise him for everything he has done for us— the wonderful goodness, the riches of his mercy, which he has shown to the house of Israel, and the abundance of his endless love. Isaiah 63:7
I encourage all of us to take time and write down our thoughts about love. Pass on the gift of love to others.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
