Where Do You Go For Your Answers?
We are living in a world of rapid response where social media is the gatekeeper. With the speed of technology and quantum computing, our lives are in constant movement. Are you finding yourself lost in distraction, pulled to check on the multitude of alerts that come in over social media?
While social media was intended to bring us together, it has overwhelmed our lives.
As many of you know, I often go out in the garden to find solace. Gloves on and clogs on, caring for my plants is much like caring for my soul and it’s amazing how, when I’m in this setting, a channel with God just opens right up. I am able to work through a lot of my questions by being in nature.
If ever I feel overwhelmed, I just look up at the vastness of the sky. That is God’s gift of infinity and possibility to us all. Our God-given natural surroundings are there to ground us. God speaks to us if we are willing to listen. He offers hope, true hope.
I remember being in the Serengeti last winter. As I was looking out toward the horizon over the plains. I had long forgotten about my phone (I hadn’t had reception for days). AS I STOOD IN NATURE, I COULD HEAR CLEARLY.
“I am passionately in love with God because he listens to me. He hears my prayers and answers them.” Psalm 116:1
Welcome in the fellowship of God. His word is the greatest encyclopedia. The word will speak to you; you will uncover God’s love and promise. This is the only “search engine” you need.
“Then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ.” Philippians 4:7
Find value in friendship. Rather than turning to an app — look up. Share in conversations, spend time being present with others and truly listen and think about the thoughts being expressed.
“All who heard Jesus speak were astounded at his intelligent understanding of all that was being discussed and at his wise answers to their questions.” Luke 2:47
In recent conversations with friends and colleagues, it seems that this historic year is allowing more of us to find the time to welcome in moments with loved ones and friends, to be able to ponder, think, converse with no distraction. So many of you are feeling the “old-fashioned” benefits of undistracted time together,
If you truly listen, His voice will guide you on a path to the answers and the desires of our hearts. You will find your answers.
Give thanks to the only miracle working God!
His tender love for us continues on forever!
Give thanks to the Creator who made the heavens with wisdom!
His tender love for us continues on forever!
To him who formed dry ground, raising it up from the sea!
His tender love for us continues on forever!
Praise the one who created every heavenly light!
His tender love for us continues on forever!
He set the sun in the sky to rule over day!
His tender love for us continues on forever!
Praise him who set in place the moon and stars to rule over the night!
His tender love for us continues on forever! Psalms 136 4-9 TPT
